By HIPAA act of 4/14/2003 PulszCard^tm is required to maintain the privacy of your medical database. The company reserves the right to change this privacy tenet at any times in accordance with federal and state laws. The company reserves the right to make necessary changes in the privacy practices including all new medical information and previously stored medical information. If there is a significant change in policy of privacy, the company will carry a notice of change(News section). It is our goal to support the privacy of your electronic medical database. This medical database is by design protected as best as possible from external electronic monitoring. Your database information will not be published, sold or conveyed to any entity unless stipulated by legal investigation as ordered by a United States Court of Law. PulszCard^tm will abide by all federal and necessary state laws as regards to stored medical information. The company may use your medical information to contact you with health related information that could be a benefit to you. Certain types of demographic information and medical information such as illness, surgery, drug abuse/use and alcohol use will not be disclosed except by your electronic authorization (your passnumber authorization). Emergency information that will be released include name, age, sex and allergy without passnumber authorization to medical personnel to save your life.

PulszCard^tm will not disclose your medical database in the form of a medical synoptic report unless authorized by you the client. By using your passnumber (password) you authorize the release of your current medical report to the location that you specify whether the location is a computer browser screen, an E-Mail or World Wide Web fax transmission. Unless authorized by the client, the medical report will not be sent any facility. The only exception is a screened direct phone call by a licensed healthcare agent in an extreme life threatening emergency situation. There is a provision for release of name, age, sex and allergy information ONLY if a health care provider uses the Emergency look up panel on this Web site. If this person can provide your passnumber, it is assumed that you, the client, has authorized the full normal medical report.

 Your authorization by your passnumber does allow incorporation into the medical report of your drug and alcohol habits if you have included these items in social history. Subsequent dissemination of this protected information in general is the responsibility of the client and his or her healthcare provider, clinic or institution that have received this private information!

 PulszCard^tm does give notice that in the normal conduct of business, each request of medical information release by medical synoptic report will generate a review of your subscription status. If the status indicates an out of subscription indicator, only an emergency release of name, age, sex and allergy will occur until the subscription status is corrected by online transaction. If a healthcare provider does provide a medical license number and your passnumber, then a full release will occur only one time! If you terminate your account with PulszCard^tm then your medical database will become inactive and not destroyed. Your medical database is still private and will not be released unless required by subpoenas or writ from a federal or state court or in compliance with federal or state law.

  PulszCard^tm does give notice that it your right to complain directly to us by E-Mail or written U.S. Mail if you feel that your privacy was violated by the company. You have a right to complain directly to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. We support your right to privacy and only the authorized release of the medical synoptic report by you to your medical care giver or facility. We take no responsibility for the misuse of the medical report.
